about

The first ever KSLU publication, FIBER, was founded in 1996. It has seen many evolutions, including the most recent, The Amp.
Founded in 2017 by Caleigh Horan and Tom Bergan, The Amp is a collective of music lovers writing about all things music. Created during finals by college students looking away from their work, The Amp became a way to share their thoughts about music and the world around it. Whether its indie rock, industrial hip-hop or musical theatre, The Amp is the publication to cover it. Written by college students for college students, The Amp features a wide variety of articles, interviews, and other features on KSLU events.

THE TEAM

These are the people that are helping make The Amp possible!

Your Publications Director for this year is an art history and communications double major. She's been in KSLU since freshman year, DJing with fellow cohost Colleen on Brunch Hour. Having written an article or two in her day and loving to record her KSLU show, she is so excited to captain the ship that is the Amp. Our Fall zine is coming soon so look out for that!!
